Question is pretty obvious, wondering what you thought?
Had you used a marriage/relationship counselor previously? If so, did you notice any difference. I've heard the coach term thrown out several times, and have seen the differentiation online when comparing websites. But, am definitely curious if there's a general difference in practice from those who've experienced both.
If you and your partner are reasonable , mature ,non-vindictive people then you can work out the solution without any coach.
IMHO such "coaches" are just a waste of time and money
Are City-Data members on this forum not doing exactly that? Coaching, advising, informing...
The only difference is that most people don't want/believe in free advice but will gladly pay steep fees to so called self proclaimed "coach" that will tell them exactly the same...

Just but Dr. Phil's book on relationships and follow his instructions on
doing the work on your relationship. The biggest point....when in crisis, turn towards your partner for
to resolve,rather than away from....
