But there's a guy would like to know better. We know each other of degree. On social media too. Our rapport is friendly and interest. We had malentendu... err not understanding... earlier and that cause problem... "distance". Still talk but not so... natural. I like ask him to coffee and 'clear air' at least. Figure out things. How to without awkward or wrong impression?

Send him a message, that you feel there's been a misunderstanding, and would like to meet with him to clear it up. Suggest a bookstore or coffee shop.
