Wouldn't surprise me. There are already "Robot rights" groups popping up though, so that the robots don't get abused or exploited by humans.
Really? I'm thinking if you want to kick your robot in the nads and twist their nipples, you go ahead and do that. If you want to tell your sex robot she needs to lose a little weight, you can do that. It's not a living creature. It deserves no more rights than my car does.

I think if someone wants to kick their robot in the nads, or twist a robot nipple, or keep it tied up in closet, so what? What rights are inanimate objects entitled to?
I think she makes a rather reserved offer to pay, then hesitates for a few seconds to see if the robot is a gentleman robot or a cheapskate robot. Of course some robots will be coded to consider her offer as evidence that she's not into his robot charms.
Likewise women robots will offer to pay to make it clear they're not [Snip.].
