Yeah, and couples that are living apart are seeing each other on the sly regardless. This pandemic won't keep couples apart that's for sure. Some will hold out for so long until say, phase 2 of the reopening and they be like "aw..screw it, i'm only seeing him/her and no one else."
I don't know of any guidelines that prevent couples from seeing each other 1:1. They tend to be focused on gatherings of 6 or more people in one place. The danger comes when one person infects a group because the risk is exponential. That's just basic epidemiology.

Did you not know that?
No need to be condescending. (Oh wait, this is a message board where sarcasm and condescension is a common place, lol)
Of course I knew that. But, social distancing isn't taking place. Couples are typically in direct physical contact with each other. They'll be visiting each other at their own homes.
I think this is a case of restrictions differing (and restrictions don't make sense everywhere), but unless you are absolutely required by present authority to wear the masks everywhere always, have some faith in each other... or meet and do something outside, summer is coming...
That said I'd rather have a "virtual" meet over skype/teams/zoom or whatever with the camera on than meet and wear a mask...

I wouldn't date a guy who was afraid of germs and getting his hands dirty. I'll pass.
