I have only been a few times but it seemed pretty normal to have groups of males and females. It actually felt more like a bar scene, not a drug scene as others have suggested. I guess it was considered a more upscale place. I was kind of surprised how normal it felt, other than naked girls on stages.

I was referring to regular strip clubs with female dancers. The kind of things I've seen happen between women customers and the dancers would give "Girls Gone Wild" a run for its money. And I knew they were real customers, and not dancers posing as such (a.k.a. plants).
LOL you seem disgruntled about this. You are in a setting, the strip club that exists to supply something that male customers are bringing demand for, where female sexuality is the commodity, and male sexuality is driving the profit motive. As with most sex work, from stripping to prostitution, to camming, to the way some people handle their dating lives. No one is FORCED to participate, yet many choose to. And if demand goes away, supply will, too. But I don't think that there is a huge MOVEMENT of men no longer wanting to engage with women sexually, the way your little fringe group (shall not be named whatever) believes.

Why be surprised, when a woman shows up in the "customer" role and yet is not treated the way that the men are? Obviously the opportunity is there for her to splash around some free "up the ante" female sexuality without claiming a share of the green paper spoils for herself. Any play between her and the strippers can be used to rile the men up more and get them tossing more cash. Or giving it to the "woman customer" to hand to the stripper because guys enjoy seeing women-with-women sexually charged interactions, and in this fantasy the male customer is having some kind of a sexually charged interaction with the strippers. If only one of voyeurism.

And beyond that, there is the power dynamics in play, which have always intrigued me. The strippers, whether male strippers or female ones, have to kinda ascertain what the clientele wants, to get as much money out of them as possible. Some of their viewers want to feel dominant, some might want to feel submissive. The strippers who succeed, will be the ones who know how to throw that fantasy energy around without any lines getting crossed either way.

Unfortunately (I guess) for me, much like porn, I can't personally "get" how to enjoy being a patron of strippers. I don't feel desire for anyone until I know them, my sexual mechanisms just don't work in that way of seeing=wanting. So those kinds of set-ups always feel awkward for me, nothing more. I went to a friend's birthday party where the ladies had hired a male stripper. My fiance was all fussed about it, he thought that the women would be doing sex acts with him or something. I wasn't comfortable enough with it to even want to be near him, and made a show of giving a bunch of cash to Bday girl to give him, and asking him to not interact with me, while I watched from a distance. He was cool with that. His routine just looked absurd to me, but the other ladies seemed to have a good time. Closest thing to a sex act I saw was one lady swatting him on the backside though. And this was not at a strip club, it was a private party. *shrug*

However, as I mentioned, seeing someone I already know and like pole dance, with or without clothing, now that I might enjoy....

One thing to think about is that sex work is one of the activities where the female participants are much more likely to have a personality disorder then in the general population of women. Women with Histrionic Personality Disorder, Narcissist Personality Disorder and Anti Social Personality Disorder tend to have an advantage in sex work. Whether its being an OnlyFans cam girl, a sugar baby or a stripper, each of those careers are going to be overrepresented by women with personality disorders.

So I wouldn't be surprised that some men have a bad taste in their mouth from interacting with the women who have personality disorders, but blame these women's career choice as opposed to recognizing the underlying personality disorder.
