Hey y’all. I’m training this new girl at work. We were getting to know each other and asking questions. I told her I live with my brother and his girlfriend. She said “oh cool, are you seeing anyone?” Does this indicate interest or not necessarily? We were asking each other’s questions so maybe she was just curious since I mentioned my brother dating? Thanks y’all

First, OP, is your ex girlfriend out of the picture completely, the one that was contacting you last week?
As far as this new girl at work... do your job of training her, don't "look" for signs if she likes you or not, be professional.... don't you want to keep your job?
(Side note - Amazes me how many posts on here are about picking up on co-workers. That used to be called sexual harassment back in my day!)
Geeezzz...I would never ask a coworker, especially someone training me, if they were seeing anyone. People these days are just asking for trouble. Sure, go ahead and date your trainee - except in some regards you're her semi-boss. You may not be able to fire her but can't you find ANYONE else to date?
Is there something about these guys that they can only see a woman if she's right under their nose?
Thanks for the helpful responses. For the judgey ones, the question was baiting answers regarding the situation itself. I don’t need life advice and pointers from you guys
