I have to say, men getting together with only men, (straight men), is something men won't likely find desirable as opposed to women doing the same.
Men call that a sausage fest. lol
No, they don't call it a sausage fest. They call it a bowling league or a golfing club, a business lunch, a Super Bowl Sunday hangout, or whatever. I suppose if you have trouble finding guy friends to hang out with, as well as women to date, you wouldn't know that guys like to share activities together.
And yet, OP assumes that the woman IS in a committed relationship, therefore shouldn't be in the singles group. It seems that it goes both ways.
Unless it's specifically, and spelled out, that this is a group with the intent of finding someone to date (and also, apparently, to date the opposite gender?) OP doesn't get to say what the group is for.
I'm wondering if the OP has a clear idea of what the group is for. Maybe he thinks he's in a group whose purpose it is to organize group mixed-gender dates.

Pick up basketball games, hunting, fish camp, working on the car, soccer, baseball, wood shop, spelunking, comicon, the possibilities are endless for things that guys get together with their buddies and do and leave their wives and girlfriends home while they are doing it.
