I read an article yesturday about a couple that just got married-he was 35 and she 21. What's your age difference and what would be you limits on how old and how young would go as it realtes to dating/marring someone of a different age.

Please list you age....

My age is 36 Dated a man 10 years younger once. Didn't work out but trying to keep in touch with him. He is just irresistible to me. Hard to let go of. I really did not want to date anyone that much younger than me but when I met him, I could not keep my hands or my lips off of him. Sometimes you can't choose who you fall for they choose you.

I'm 54, living with a 36 year old now for more than 18 months. Very happily settled, same interests, different cultural backgrounds but through our educational backgrounds have achieved similar cultural interests. Both outdoorsy (kayak, mountain climbing, trekking, exploring new places to go, water sports, motorcycling, hang gliding, bungee jumping, travel, photography).
She is well accepted into my social group and vice - versa. Both University graduates in different spheres, into gym, dinners and dancing, and shares my passion for reading, dogs and cats, educating her child (who accepts me as an integral part of the family). Both of us are independent enough to have the trust of spending a weekend /couple of days away pursueing interests (archaeology, new climbing areas, photography courses etc... or business trips away from home)
We are from different countries. She has lived in mine and I have lived in hers for extended periods.
Her parents are happy with the relationship and my children from a previous marriage are genuinely pleased and happy that we both have found happiness.

I've dated several guys younger than I am. The last guy I dated (before my current relationship of six years with someone a couple years older than I am) was 18 years younger. It would have likely worked out--we're both in the same field, he was working on his M.A. and I was working on my B.A.) except for the fact that he just knew that at his age, he had life completely figured out. Having experienced more life at that point than he had, I knew differently. His holier-than-thou attitude just killed it for me. I sent him on his way with the advice that he try dating someone younger than he was who would be starstruck by the fact that he already knew all there was to know about life.
