I worked for a gas station....back then, they werent convenient stores yet. He was a regular customer. Long story shoty, turns out he was a rock n roll musician and his band needed a keyboardist/female vocalist. The rest is history. Of course we're not married now but still are very good friends.

I was working at a FBO (fixed based operator) in Ft. Lauderdale Executive airport at the flight school. My father had his own jet charter business. I wanted to know a particular flight instructor. One day, my father called me and needed a co-pilot to fly to Central America and he ran out of people to call. So he asked me if I knew anyone that could do it. I said, oh yes! Needless to say, he was forever grateful to me and the rest is history.

I met my wasband in highschool, in the technical school. I should have known better when the principal of votech and the principal of his hs had to pick him up from votech and go to his house and put him in his bed for getting drunk at school...

Shoulda known better... oh well... at least I have the two kids to show for it, 17 years later...

My first husband I met because he lived up the street from me and apparently wanted to meet me, so he came down and lent me his shovel one day when it snowed. (Can't you just hear the romance? I think I hear "Three Coins in a Fountain" playing in the background...) Just kidding. He was just very shy and didn't know how to approach me.

My second husband I met on the internet, but it was on a common-interests forum...we weren't specifically looking for love or anything like that.

I met my DH when we were both on business in India. He was there for the American organization and I was there for the European side.

We were over there for over a month, and by the time we got back to London, it was all over! We were married within the year.

I met my husband May 6, 1989.

Our good friends were getting married, I was the maid of honor and he was the best man.

I had no intention of wanting to meet anyone who was my best friends finace's buddies. Most of them were a piece of work.

Everything changed in an instant. The moment I met him and we shook hands I knew that he would be my husband. We fell instantly in love.

Next month will make 18 years of marriage and we still love each other very much .

I searched AOL profiles for guys who lived in my general vicinity, who were between the ages of 35 and 45, who were scientists, who were into birdwatching and who were single or divorced. I found exactly one who fit the bill. He happened to be online at that exact moment, so I sent him an Instant Message. Now we're married (we will celebrate our 7th anniversary in August) and we still birdwatch as often as possible, though it's harder now with our 2 kids .
