That's not how a good lot of people operate. If some girl blew up from teasing it means I crossed the line or she is insecure. It would mean either I lack social skills or she is insecure. Something is wrong with one or both.
One does not tease a girl with weight problems about her weight, for example. One does not tease a woman about bald spots if she is balding. However if a very attractive girl is wearing a white dress, you go on and on about how you love black dresses. If a woman says I look broke pulling up in a BMW , then if she has thick lustrous hair, I mention she should try on some wigs.

The date went really well. It was very comfortable. He put a lot if effort in. Took me to a nice restaurant. We were comfortable together. Joked around a bit. I got goodnight kisses. But I didn't feel he was using me or wanting to sleep with me. It was purely a nice night overall. I'm hoping to see him again.

Just being curious, you said he planned the date and put in a lot of effort. You went to a restaurant, what was the effort and the planning about??

I am not sure, however, how going to a restaurant involves any effort or much planning, nor how things went from pizza to a nice restaurant. At least she got to meet him.
