Dating shouldn't be about age, it should be based on your personality and physical age. If you are 36, do you look it? When I was 36, I couldn't date women older than 25 because I don't look my age. Now I'm over 40, I'm finally dating women around 26-30 because I still look younger than most guys. So if I told women I'm 40, they don't believe me anyways.

I can relate... and one thing I've learned is that looking young for my age is actually a STRIKE against me.
And not only facial looks either - having a 'young-looking' body can also be a demerit.
What age bracket of women are acceptable for dating as a 36 year old male?
You’re a grown man.
The answer is any bracket that is acceptable to you and is within the law. I wouldn’t look at you twice if you dated anywhere between 20-50. But what I think doesn’t matter for your relationships’, just try to find someone you are compatible with.
Depends on how attractive you are , and what kind of relationship. If you are attractive you can probably date 25 year olds or younger , but of course their relative attractiveness comes into play in which case I would presume it would be harder to get the most in demand 25 year olds Its probably a 1 in 5 shot though because all things being equal women want 0+3. You have to be in their rule breaker attractiveness.
But how men look in my opinion is merely a frame work. if you do nothing its like a sports car out of gas. Any kind of good social validation will amplify a good looking guy into the buyers market aka success. A 35 year old in this position may have their pick. A less attractive man really is pretty well boxed in , Nobel prize winner or not. The frame work of physically unattractive men just does hold up accomplishments nearly so well.
As for the age of the woman and her relationship intentions, again this is the all things being equal. Yes its true that the same woman at 23 is less likely to want anything serious than at 28. However its not the same women. Women over 30 still in the dating pool will have women in it that are less relationship minded. So its not necessarily going to be any more stable to look for women in their 30s.
So its highly contextual. Who has the bargaining power?
When I was a nutty 23 yr old I had an affair with a 36 yr old man. I thought he was ancient. Now I look at his photos online (he's a well known artist) and realize that NOW he's ancient! But back then I thought he was way outside of my age range. To me, anything over 28 is good for a 36 yr old. A lot of maturity happens between age 25 and age 28 IMO.
Okay, so I’m 36 years old, and my questions are the following:
What age bracket of women are acceptable for dating as a 36 year old male?
Are women and men biased when it comes to age ranges for a given age range when it comes to dating and relationships I.e. do they differ in what a man that age and what a woman that age finds acceptable for dating?
Thanks
I've always gone by the "swing" rule.
In your 30's it's a 3 year swing one way or the other in age.
in your 40's it's a 4 year swing
In your 50's it's a 5 year swing
and in the 60's it's 6 and in the 70's it doesn't matter anymore lol

I’ve been told by several
people online that I look handsome, even as a 36 year old man go figure thanks for the advice.
Based on past posts, the OP is autistic, so he probably does need extra advice than an average neurotypical 36-year-old
Yup, but I’m aspie now since i have had intensive therapies from early childhood and have come a tremendously long way from where I started and I have a somewhat good handle on overall social awkwardness
