Im a 40 year old male almost 41 with aspergers who wants to eat married badly. In my life i have only had 2 girlfriends only. For the past 3 years I have been dating this 36 woman who also has a disability. She works part time as a grocery bagger at qfc and the rest of her income is ssi disability. She lives with her parents in seattle,Washington magnolia nieghborhood.
This woman doesn't drive a car and her parents control her money for her.
Her disability are lupus, adhd and a learning disability.
This woman went to a special education high school and has no college education.
In terms of myself even though I'm college educated and have a Bachelor Of Arts degree from California state university northridge I struggle to get and keep jobs due to my aspergers.
Currently I'm working in a fast food restaurant part time.
My parents pay my rent in northgate seattle,Washington in a 1 bedroom apartment where I live alone.
Luckily enough I own a late model car and have a drivers license.
Should a person like me get married and is this the right woman for me to marry??
My parents live in the los angeles,California area.
Im also an only child.
My parents financially support me still.
This woman who im dating her parents also support her to some extent.
Im debating weather i should propose to her.
Also I can't tell if this woman loves me or I just using me for free car rides and free restaurant meals out that I pay for.
For years and years I have wanted to get married.
I want some woman to love me and care about me.
All of this woman's friends have a disability of some sort.
I also forgot to add that I'm an only child. My girlfriend has 1 brother and 2 sisters. My girlfriends sisters and brother are all married and non disabled. My girlfriends siblings all own houses and have kids already.
It's evident that you care for this woman. You need to find our if she cares for you as much. Get your answer to this, and your mission will be clear...

I do care for this woman. She also comes from a loving family.
Take her out to dinner and have a conversation about your future. Ask her what she thinks about marriage and how she feels about marriage with you as a possibility.
You need to do this before thinking about proposing.
This woman also told me her parents don't think she is ready to live on her own yet.
This right here will put the kibosh on everything - if her parents feel - rightly or not - that she is not capable of being on her own then I simply cannot see them giving their blessings.

The OP had a thread almost two years ago asking if it's possible to get into a relationship with a woman if you have asperger's and a low wage job. In that thread he also mentioned that he broke up with his girlfriend (in Seattle) and that he didn't love her.
Well, now the OP is saying in this thread that he's been dating this woman for three years. I assume it's the same lady?
