The mail room is quite the pickup spot.

I did my best to follow the “no work incest” rule. I dated a woman once after I left the company who had been my boss.

Now if it's the boss you do it while you work there so you can get all the raises.

It often seems like everyone is sleeping with everyone where I work. Unchecked human nature, even in red areas, is not my cup of tea.

I'm glad I saw this thread though... I will keep this in perspective as I pine over this one co-worker but don't have the guts to approach her. I'm trying to put her out of my mind and avoid her entirely at this point. It's literally a skill I'm actively working on, because I've seen red flags in her behavior, yet my limbic system chooses to ignore as it wants her anyways.

Mod cut.

Gotta love this forum. Guy comes here asking about a dating topic and the responses range from snarky "You don't have a social circle??" to making fun of the guy for looking like a cartoon character.

Shameful.

I would without a doubt date a coworkers if I actually worked with females. The few times in my life I did work with females almost always led to some type of relationship and I miss it. Its a LOT better than having to rely on online dating. I'm jealous of people who have a job like that.

Agree. Making the guy feel small, as if everyone else, including the posters responding, have these fabulous, well-adjusted lives brimming with vibrant social lives, filled with supportive, warm circles of friends and exciting dating prospects. In reality, most lead lives resembling the OP's. LOL. OP's life seems pretty average.

^It's a think with the Internet lately where OP is always blamed and criticized a lot, no matter what they post. If someone comes here to say their life is wonderful and they're rich they'll get ridiculed and called it's all fake. If they complain they have trouble with work etc. they're called lazy. No matter what an OP posts, it seems when you share anything personal online you can't win.

This thread has been cleaned up of inappropriate posts, bickering and off-topic comments. Since you all can't seem to stay on topic and to be civil with one another, the thread will remain closed.
