All the posts above me sound really nice, but here's the reality list:
leaves the room I'm in when he has to fart
puts down the toilet seat
appreciates the fact that I will never ask him, "does this XXX make me look fat?"
knows better than to tell me "that XXX makes you look fat" (see the line above)
uses utensils to eat
can occasionally show affection and feign interest in my stories
doesn't make me sleep on the wet spot
(hint - the reason so many listed 'honesty' is because that is a characteristic rarely experienced by women as expressed by the men in their lives - if you are truly capable of it, then you will most DEFINITELY be attractive to women - a true "catch")

Of course, that's provided the food is not being eaten off of you (in a sensual way... not in a "oops...dropped some gravy... I'll get that" kind of way)

Initially, whether or not he looks at me when he talks to me. Self confidence. Not being arrogant. Intelligence. Success (sorry but we do think in terms of providing for our offspring even when not consciously doing so).
Turn offs are conceit, arrogance and controlling behavior. (thinking back a long time here since I haven't been in the market for 30 years, lol)
