For example going out to eat, I always would say "Where do you want to eat" then it would turn into 30 minutes of back and forth.
Then I realized women like men who take charge so I decided to just say "Applebees at 7" and the girls would agree but then it came off that i was being to controlling and bossy and now i'm just lost on what and how i do this
I almost wanna ask the girl what she likes but that doesnt go well
Yup. Options. Ask her if she's up for Applebee's, or would she prefer Chinese. (or Thai, whatever). If she opts for the ethnic food, go to your fave, no discussion. It's simpler that way.
First of all, not all women are the same. If you date someone whose last relationship was with a control-freak jerk, she will be sensitive about that. If you date someone that is frustrated because every guy she dates is indecisive, they she will be sensitive about that.
"Applebee's at 7" just sounds abrupt. Better would be, "Does Applebee's at 7 sound okay?"
Also, a chain restaurant, really? Yelp is your friend. Find a small, unknown place with great reviews.
if this is a new fling, she shouldn't care where you go...its about getting to know each other...otherwise she wants a free meal and wants better food
that said, applebees is the best you can come up with??
there have got to be better places in your area, doesn't have to be 4 star expensive
applebees is where you go after you've been married 12 years and don't like each other any more...
does she like ethnic food...sushi...Cuban...for example...(Chinese food aint ethnic lol) thai...take her someplace a LITLLE bit trendy...take grandma to applebees
When I was dating, I would always ask them if anything sounded good. 99% of the time they had no idea so I said "cool then let's go here" and everything worked out just fine.
When I was dating, I would have preferred that if a guy asked me to dinner, he suggest the place.
Thankfully, none ever suggested Applebee's.
