I suspect at least 6 out of 10 guys (and I'm giving a conservative guess) has been with a prostitute at some point during his life. A woman would be extremely naive to think otherwise. If the guy practiced safe sex and it was in the past, and he does not still do it, I don't see why that should be an issue...

You think that many? I would have guessed maybe 20 - 30% of men, no more than that.
What makes you think that so many men have been to prostitutes?

Gee, the cardinal sin that this is... That's how the sex life of many men used to start in the past.
As long as he was clean now, it wouldn't bother me. This was 10 years ago, not 10 minutes ago. We all have things in our past that we aren't proud of. I think he's a pretty honest guy for telling her.
