Well, all in all it was a pretty good weekend. I got along with everyone well, except J, Sr. I got a firm handshake and a nod. Not a word was spoken to me by him all weekend

The mom, sister, and housekeeper (more like his nanny, though) all embraced me with hugs and made me feel part of the family. I really enjoyed meeting them all and I can even understand J, Sr. since I understand my fiance so much. Now I know where his stubborness comes from I don't think he hates me, I think he's just struggling with the developments.

Anyway -- we're going to hold off on setting a date for getting married for now since we decided afterward we want to live where it's legal (MA) and be near both of our familes. So, until we decide we want to move to MA (we both want to stay in FL for now) we will remain engaged

Yey, you made it through, Lior! Well, you know it's nothing personal. His father would've acted the same no matter who was brought home unless it was a girl, of course, and even that's not for sure.

Glad you survived Lior. Sounds like it was nice time overall. I agree with sierra about J senior. Hopefully he'll come around in time.

I like the idea of being married where it's legal. Sounds like you have a good idea of what you both want. Congrats!

Thanks for the udate too..
