My (whateva)th H.S. reunion is in a month. Im going. The wife is NOT.
She's wants to save $$ money cause we live out of state. Thats fine...here's the problem... I just came back from her reunion
(same state where mine is) ~and had a blast.!
I met many of here male and (female) friends. Some (female) friends commented "Why arent you going to His reunion next month"?)~ and in turn said THEY would be happy to accompany me to the function.(As Friends!) (they all live in town too)
kool I may take one----!

BUT ---- How do you all think THAT would go over.??
"Hey is this your beautiful wife? uh -"No this is my... Wife's best friend."?
uuuuuuuuuuhhhhh ???

But it would SURELY beat going A L O N E ...

suggestions.??

Is this a trolling thing?

You can't be serious about this? I find it hard to believe that ANY remotely intelligent human being would even consider something so pathologically stupid.

You wife doesn't want to go. Fine. Go without her and go ALONE. Have a great time and report back.

How much more simple can that be? Sheesh.

Take all of your wifes friends. Introduce them to your old classmates as your ex-wives. You'll be the life of the party.

Just go by yourself, no need to bring friends of your wife. That would be alittle odd. Just my opinion.

no, if you cant take your wife, dont take anyone.
go alone. have a blast. but dont take one of her friends. thats just drama waiting to explode.

after the reunion, when she asks how it went, tell her: "ok, but everyone kept on saying that i was probably the youngest widower of the bunch!"

if she dont get it. say "ya, since i didnt want to say i have an ingrate for a wife, i just decided to kill you off intead. it made for good conversation"

seriously tho. make her go. it will be fun, and is the only fair thing to do. if not, see above. but try to convince her.

Let's not forget we are not in high school anymore...your marriage is not like "going steady". If you want to be able to return to your home then no, do not take anyone else.
