Well, Americans, sometimes you have to deal with realistic endings!

Iv'e only seen a small part of the movie when I was flipping through channels several years ago. The movie, I thought was boring, anyway this great passion could only last for a brief period because the everyday grind would break it down. I would never leave my children behind for a man. To say that this was her great passion I find to be unbelievable. This was a great week of sex and connecting for an emotionally starved women. This could have happened with any guy who happened to cross that path. It could never be sustained between kids screaming the house needing to be cleaned and trying to get him to take out the garbage.

Realistic? Robert Duvall's character seemed perfect for Greta Scaachi's! And instead, they spent the rest of their lives apart, but they somehow ended up buried next to each other.

I haven't seen it. Was just saying that generally you can't have happy ends all the time.

There's a massage therapy joke lurking in there.

Guess so... Remember some innocent soul a while ago needed to have it explained.

Ooops! Sorry to spoil the ending for you. The movie came out in 2006, so I thought you had seen it. The rest of the movie is great though. I love Robert Duvall's recent films. He was great in Secondhand Lions too.

That's OK. I just checked it. I don't care much for Westerns. Used to like them as a kid, but not really now.

Now, to your other question. If there was a chance for one of us to get out alive, then I'd put the mask on the baby. At that point, you just have to hope that someone else who survives will look out for your baby.
Oof - that's really having faith in your fellow man...I don't know that I could ever be that trusting, especially in an emergency situation.
