There has been so much about infidelity lately and I started wondering, what do you think you would do if you found out your spouse or signifiacnt other had been unfaithful?
Would it be over? Would you try to work it out? Or, would there be a scene reenacted from the "Burning Bed"? I am almost afraid to ask!
Depends....did somone drug him and/or knock him out? Because that would be the only way that I would consider forgiving him.
Life is wayyyy too short and there are wayyyy too many good guys out there to spend one second too many with a cheater.
Oh boy. I went to a party in my former neighborhood last night and started laughing about all the great material for this thread!
It seems everyone is getting divorced there and has their own stories. Many of the wives in the neighborhood have started helping the others out by spying/following the others husbands and their girlfriends! There have been physical altercations, lawsuits for defamation of character, allegatioins of swinging, etc.
So, I guess in this case, misery really does love company.

Honey, that's one of the reasons I moved...too much drama!! Actually, I felt really sick to my stomach after listening to the shenanigans. The sad part is the fact that some of the people that still live there think this behavior is the norm. YUCK!
good for you then! Negativity is such a downer and it can be contageous....no matter how hard you try....when your surrounded by it it truly does affect you wether you want it to or not.
We have a 50% divorce rate in this country, so finding somebody to love might be harder than we all think. And if we get along for any length of time it seems to be a hurdle in itself. Then if one of them doesn't cheat, or want to, I'd tend to agree with what a woman once told me, "I don't think we (humans) are naturally monogamous." There's some truth in it, but note, for whatever reasons, some of us choose to be.
I naturally think I would shoot somebody for cheating, but strangely, it has happened, and I just shrugged -- washed my hands of the relationship because it was over.
