I went out to the store and ended up picking up a Radio Flyer fire engine for my two youngest boys and they have had a blast riding around in it...my furniture does not appreciate it, but they are thrilled. These days are just photo ops waiting to happen. So, my camera in hand and great subjects, I had a great day tagging along while they played and getting some funny shots.

2 things.

1) I had a great talk with my 11 year old about how responsible he is and proud of him I am. Really made me feel good because I am the strict one and my wife was the more loving\lenient one but she passed this spring...trying to balance my approach. :-)

2) Took a sweet drive in my new car. Had a guy driving a c5 corvette stop me and drool over it. :-) I have always loved "going for a drive" and this car just makes any trip fun.

Rode the lift, too! Nice!

Nice, Smokey. I've been there once before. When I went, not only was there snow on the ground, but people were skiing ... in friggin' Tucson! I'd post a pic, but I'm afraid of some, ummm, Photochoppers.

That is wonderful! I am glad you had a good day with your child.

I am so sorry about your wife's passing.

I'll always remember how once I bought a set of 7 fully functioning musical instruments for friends' kid and I staid with them for a few days! What was I thinking?! Never again!

Let's do an exchange program - I wanna see the pyramids, too.

You know, I've no idea how the skiing really happens because as soon as it starts snowing the road is closed... Are those skiers dropped from friggin' helicopters...?!

My hubby and I took the Topper (small sailboat, 14 foot) out for a sunset sail with a couple of beers on the lake in our community... was so nice and romantic! LOL Ahhhh.... can life be any better than this?

I DID! I'd be evil if I just gave them to the kid for the parents to suffer. I told you I WAS with them for a few days!
