I helped someone that really needed, and appreciated my help.
I also made her a pan of potato soup. It makes me feel so good inside, to watch someone smile!
The good news is there was a bunny right in front of my window! I just love those cotton tails - they're adorable! The bad news is he was snacking on my plants!
And I'm here again... instead of making dinner at least...
I was browsing through the craigslist ads, in the "free" section and scored myself a free working Ampeg bass amp! I caught the ad only 16 minutes after it was posted. The address posted was only 3.5 miles from my house. I jumped into my car and found a parking space right in front of the building. It was very heavy, but I managed to get it down to the car. I lent my hatchback to my boyfriend this weekend, and I had the sedan. Luckily, the amp fit into the front passenger seat. lol. And the amp works! It's an Ampeg BA-115. Yay for craigslist! Maybe it's a sign that I should get back into the local music scene.
On the way to pickup the amp, I was wondering whether or not there'd be a bunch of us arriving at once. At least it was already dark outside and raining. The amp was left in an apartment building's foyer so it wasn't soaked.
My wife left at 9 to go to a sale. By the time she returned at noon, the kids and I had cleaned the house stem to stern. Plus I had put dinner together tonight. She's been working incredibly hard lately.
