Picked up a neighbor from a hospital. He was very appreciative of it.

It's not something I did nor something that's specific to today, but these still made (and make) me happy.
1.) Listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
2.) Knowing the Yankees signed CC, AJ, and Teix.

Thanks. It wasn't quite how I planned my Christmas morning, but obviously this was a serious situation. He wouldn't stop thanking me on the drive back.

Not only that, I know 2 neighbors! Does that mean I get 2 gold stars?

I celebrated Christmas with my family, that I haven't seen in a year! That was fun, and I made a snow angel and played in the snow! What is better than that (ok, I can name some things, but snow is high on my list)???

Actually, I know the names of more neighbors than you do, but certainly nobody's phone number or anything... Once I did ask a neighbor for little help because after my experiment the choice was between flooding the neighborhood or not having water at home and it was Saturday. I knew it was something minor and the folks at the emergency number would get mighty pissed had I called them. Besides, this option is only good for another 2 months. Perhaps I should get my as* moving in the spring and find me a BF after the warranty runs out.

My house and my neighbor's are placed in a way we'd never see the front unless we decide to , so the other night I was outside and noticed she was in but there was a package in front she hadn't picked up, so I rang her bell to let her know. It was about 8:20 p.m. Scared the daylights out of her... To be honest, I'd probably be a bit scared if somebody rang my doorbell in the dark, too. What a world...

Had a great day with my family and friends...the kids were fun to watch open their gifts, my brother finally made it home, and I did not let my MIL bother me...good day!
