I spent the day with my husband and children at an amazing plantation...it is actually the ruins of a once stately manor that was built in the 1700's and it burned in 1916...quite a lovely place.

Then we went out on the boat, went skiing and wake boarding...had a blast!
Well its only 5:00 am so ??? I went to the bathroom a minute ago.
But yesterday we had some friends over for a little get together.

It's 5 years to the day since I bought my Cougar, so, for our anniversary, I'll take her out and give her a good drink, then take her for a little drive.

A little TLC goes a long way !!

Two neighbors told me about a great horned owl living in a maple tree behind our houses, but the view is obscured by one of our big pine trees. I wanted to see it because I've never seen a wild owl, so I went out a little while before dawn. I didn't see it, but it was neat to hear all the birds and their morning racket.

I'm totally going to be one of those birdwatching old ladies.

Some of the best things in life are free, like what Julia did.

My happy today is that I have the day off.

It's a car, but it's definitely female.
