They now rest in Peace under an old growth beautiful Doug Fir, above the basspond. I talk to them sometimes.
I would have preferred the same for my brother. I can't stand the thought of him in a box in the ground in NJ. He hated NJ. Any way, thanks. I'm going to make it nice for him. Ahh, maybe I'll get a little bench, too.

So this morning my son was watching Sprout channel and a little vignette came on where they were talking about Father's Day and Daddies in general, using happy-to-the-point-of-illegal-narcotics to ask questions of the kiddies:

What does your daddy do with you? Does he make you laugh? Does he tickle you? What kinds of things do you and your daddy do together?

I turned to my son and said "Luke, what does your daddy do with you?"

He grinned and said "Make GAWM-bo!" (gumbo) It appears he's never forgotten his first cooking experience with helping Daddy, or Daddy teaching him to say the dish with a Cajun accent!

Today I'm doing everything I've procrastinated. Not fun, but I'll be really, really happy when they're done.

Mrs Chow is a talented artist.

Today it made me happy thinking about having her paint a large canvas painting for our front room.

We slept in and then took my husband to see Toy Story 3. I am making rabbit for dinner at his request. It's been marinating for hours; wish me luck.

Funny, you probably passed my husband. He went running with a friend along Lake Shore Drive yesterday. Wasn't it gorgeous out?

Went to the church. Then headed for the buffet arranged by the church. Indulged in some scrambled eggs as the other christian fatties indulged in sausages, bacon and ham

Antlered, if you were ever captured by the enemy, they would tie you down, hold a forkful of fat-laden food over your mouth, and threaten you, "You VILL talk!"

Hey! Was Toy Story 3 any good? I heard that it made like 41 million over the weekend?! My son wants to see it.

Rabbit? Does that taste like chicken?
