Went to breakfast with my SO, came home, and fell asleep reading a book, curled up on the couch with rain pattering on the window and my doggie snuggled up against me. Perfect rainy vacation day.
Mmmmm....I had sweet corn last night. My dad helped pick EIGHTY dozen yesterday morning. Good stuff!!
I got some really disappointing sweet corn at the farmer's market, boo. In August, though, I'll go home for a week to my sweet corn capital hometown, and will have all the corn my heart desires.
Had a baby yesterday and I'm another day closer to going home with my munchkin. I miss my other two munchkins.

I'm lucky - my cousins have the best sweet corn in the city! And it doesn't cost me a cent.
