Ugh, not much fun here today. Went to a friends get together this morning to celebrate the kids going back to school That is always fun

Tied stuff down and together to prep for the hurricane.

One son went out of town for a college football game.

This is the best one... I am a chaperone at my oldest sons dance tomorrow night! That will be fun

We have a hardwired generator in our house and the whole house runs on it so all of my friends end up at my house during storms so I will probably have a house full soon!

American schools back in the liberated mid- to late- '60's decided to start teaching children the basics of relationships, specifically dating. So they created a "pick-up line" outside every school in the country, where the students (monitored by volunteer parents, of course) could practice their verbal pick-up lines.

Don't know if they're still doing it these days...

Default Rough week

Well today has to go down as a crappy day. I got into an auto accident on the way home from work today. Nobody got hurt, more of a fender bender actually. Since I was on company time and in a company vehicle I had to get a drug test and fill out a bunch of paperwork. Geez, hate the processes you have to go through.

While leaving the hospital where I had made a fresh donation to the urine bank, I almost got hit by some mad driver in the parking structure. If I hadn't have been paying attention she would have nailed me.

I'm at home now and planning on having a few if you know what I mean.

I am so glad you are ok! You are right, this sounds like a crappy day. Hopefully it is all over now and you can start fresh in the morning Have a few for me too

Seriously doubt the schools are offering that service anymore
