A friend of mine is dating and has been on quite a bit of dates recently through the personals. One thing that is bothering him about the women he is meeting is how many of them are masculine in both appearance, actions, body language and attitude. Many of the masculine women tell him they are struggling in the world of love.

If you believe that a feminine women is the ideal for most men, and that very masculine ladies are a turnoff, then you can understand why these people are having such a hard time finding love.

Men, what do you think of masculine looking and acting women?

I'm not a man, so I can't answer your question. But what I am wondering about is - if your friend is meeting these women through personals, hasn't he seen their pictures?

Are you talking about your next door neighbor now??

I am just kidding!

To answer your question, masculine women freak me out. They always remind me of my gym teachers with the bad polyester referee gym shorts.... The womens Olympic softball team always sort of freaks me out.

I can't wait to hear Artsy's reply!!

Many of the fanatic working-out women look quite masculine and unappealing to me, but evidently they have their fan club.

The bar wench....ICK! But I have a vision of the short hair with no style, maybe the occasional mullet, and the bad ref shorts with white athletic knee socks!! ICK!

This post makes me reminds me about a show with a ditzy Minnesotan, a horny older lady and a sarcastic yet funny grandmother....

Aw yes Mrstewart is correct, this is one of my favorite topics ever. Masculine women are freaky and weird imo.
