I live in the Southeast and almost every woman I encounter is currently dating, engaged, or married. How do I know? I work in retail. Anyhow, I've come to believe that the Southeast is a terrible place to meet single women, except for Atlanta and Miami. Does anyone else feel this way about this area, and overall how does it compare to other parts of the country?
You're kidding right. How do you think all those women get engaged and married in the first place? What's more, then women here are just pretty incredible.
Why don't you do this. Find a single buddy of yours with a good dating life, and ask him what he thinks?

It could be because many women in the Southeast commit earlier then in the west coast and up north. Many girls around me treat singleness like it's a disease.

I agree, females in the Southeast do commit at an early age.
Women can sometimes have extremely high standards and unbelievably pitiful communications skills.
With men you have to be direct and assertive. If he don't bite then move on to the next cool guy.

I believe it's more a matter of perception than reality. There are plenty of single men and women. It's just hard to find them when we want them.
