Maybe I don't understand what it's about. I add people on here because I enjoy their posts/learn from them and I'd like to keep up with them. I don't really expect anyone to send me regular messages because I added them.

When I looked and decided to test him there was only one lady there. Now I saw you and me. Guess I guilted him into walking the walk.

Or did he just seek attention... lol? ;-)

i agree with buildings here

to me the friends are people whose posts i like and enjoy, so i ask them to be my friend, or people on a thread who enjoy my posts, and they ask me to be their friend

i don't see it at as some let's jump in the sack thing

to me it's a way of saying i enjoy your posts i like your style i admire what you stand for, i have respect for the way you express yourself and how you carry yourself on the boards, or perhaps your posts are funny and give me a good laugh. Or having people say those things to me

lordy i never even dreamed it was any more than that!

I invited one of the mods who had been asking a lot of questions about my home town to be my friend. She didn't reply within a week so I deleted her a**.

My other handful of people are ones I like. But they arrived in a sort of random way.

I just finished decorating my profile, so I guess I'll have to invite some people over. LOL

I know. In the cases discussed, though, I don't give much of a rat's patootie. If I start doing so, I'll have to throw out my other passport and run for a homecoming queen. Oops, it's not renewed anyway. Something to be concerned about...

I find this weird, If I were in a nightclub and some random women was standing next to me every time I turned around and I was with my wife I'd be like whats your freaken problem. I am always honest with my posts and my profile has MARRIED in it.
I take friend requests to be like ultra-reps. Nothing more.

That's a good way of describing it.
