i do it so i have a collection of posters whose posts i enjoy so it provides easy access for entertaining reading here at work.
LOL i'm a CD-forum-at-work person myself! And i do like your posts Nature this one included so off goes a friend request to you, oops we're already friends, at least i am consistent
plus its fun
plus it feeds my ego at a really basic level just to see "you have 21 friends" or "you have 29 friends" or "you have 32 friends" the part of me that is still in about 3rd grade smiles at that
and they're low-maintenance friends, i like that, i tell them i like their posts, they tell me they like my posts, and no one is making any unruly demands in my life requiring me to maintain distance and set boundaries

I didn't even know they had a friends thing on here until a day or two ago. <shrug>
I promise not to invite you or flirt with you Mr. Cat
I do not think it necessarily means they are flirting maybe just putting a face with the friend. I did notice your friend. She is also one of mine. She has many friends because she a wonderful person.
