Stop.

As it is well known women are more verbal than men, the whole right/left brain thing. But ladies, let them speak.

I can't count the number of threads here which specifically asked for the input of men, when women quickly jumped in to give their unsolicited views on the subject.

Let men have their say if this is the request of the thread poster. In very indelicate terms ladies--butt out for a minute.

I was just reading a thread where the poster asked for the opinions of men which I was very interested in seeing, and immediately women rushed in to offer their perspective. The voices of men were drowned out in the hail of replies from women.

Play nice. Let men answer when they are asked. Even when they are hardpressed to put their feelings into words, give them a chance. Ok?

(Chopin playing in the backround of my living room. I love Chopin. Just wanted to share that.)

And these women are?

I hear you and I'm sometimes guilty of it as I am of other threads ....can't help it. But it would be nice to see just the qualified people respond and not turn into a free for all.

How about stop lecturing me?

I can't count the number of times I hop right over here and see the heading of a thread that is telling me what to do and what not to do.

I think the OP has a valid point. And, I think men are just as guilty (I know I have). Instead of getting offended, take the post for what it's worth. Negative replies just reveal the truths about the posters... I'll leave it at that.

Is this post FOR MEN ONLY? LOL. Perhaps CD should start a new forum for men only.

Sometimes it's good to get both sides on a matter. There were times that I posted Ladies only threads and when men replied, it was insightful. It might not have been what I initially asked for, but I did benefit from the different points of views.

I understand how you feel, but I don't think that the women posting on men's threads or vice versa limits the amount of responses from the true intended recipients.

Rathagos, I don't care what my posts says of me. I'm just tired of being lectured to.

Wow... defensive? So, since you didn't like being "told" what to do (although I must have missed her directing the OP at you), you felt like belittling or lecturing the OP? Sounds like a fair trade. She didn't point you out by name, so I don't understand your hard feelings.

I think MommyV made a valid point. But I think the OP did, too. If you don't like what she said, you didn't have to jump on her like she mentioned your name exclusively. Just close the thread, and go to another. Simple.

Shall we encourage men to carry "no girls allowed" signs as well? Look, don't underestimate the extensive knowledge of those who post on CD....I’m very confident that if a woman, or a man, were to post a thread asking for men's opinions only they would be perfectly capable of singling out the responses of said men......capice?
