I just moved in with a roomate on saturday.
She is a young single mom and im a single guy.
She started talking to a guy about the same time i was moving in..
And He stayed the night for the 1st time the night i moved in.
I ve only been around a few days and he has been around alot.
Am i weird to not want to live around a couple? He is almost living there. I wouldnt go alone with a couple to a movie or anything just feels weird to me.Looks like another move is my near future.
If i had known i would be living with a couple i wouldnt have moved in!

Roommates are allowed to have significant others. Looks like you should have worked that out before moving in.

I know what you are feeling, as I would be a bit annoyed as well.

However, she lives there as well, and has the right to date and have someone over. Just as you do.

It's one of the risks of having a roommate as a single guy. Not much you can do about it though, so don't even try.

This is one of the many reasons that I live alone.

I can feel your pain, I had the same experience, I'm especially clueless regarding when or how much I should talk to them to show them that I'm friendly and sociable without becoming a nuisance in their intimate and coupling moment. Sadly, as an single guy, there is nothing we can do other than doubling our effort to find our own significant others, it's always much easier to interact with another couple if you are a couple.

I understand its her House, yada yada yada..
The issue is someone basically living there that wasnt part of the deal when we..
First spoke.
Lola: We did talk on the phone some before i moved in and she is pretty cool.
I wasnt going the Romantic angle,Just hoping for place that feels comfortable..
And kinda like home.
I have had some not so great roomate stuff over the past year so i was looking..
To room with someone i thought was cool and we would click.
