Who the hell even had internet connection at home back in 1992. Personally I didn't know anybody who did at that time, and I personally know alot of people. I knew some people who had a computer at home but it was those generic ones that were only good for work related stuff and were not made for surfing the net.
Where do you live? it must not be a big city because in chicago we had the internet in the early 90's. when do you think AOL took off? i've been posting on message boards for over 15 years...and that's well more than half my age.
Cybersex has never been my thing. (I'm not very descriptive or imaginative.) I remember years ago when I was on IRC or ICQ, men would try and start a conversation heading in that direction and I would advise them it didn't interest me, but they were more than welcome to find someone else who was.
BUT I can see the interest in it and I don't think I would consider someone disgusting, sick or perverted for participating in it. My DH travels abroad a lot and it's not uncommon for me to send him pics to let him know I'm thinking of him. We haven't gotten to the point of cybersex or caming, but I won't say "never".
I don't really do the cybersex thing for the most part, like, "Ok now I'm taking off my clothes. What are you doing?" I don't do that. I've never done that, seems kind of ridiculous. But talking about sex with girls online? Heck yeah, I do that all of the time. What is hot, their opinions on this or that, etc. But it's not cybersex, which seems kind of hard to take seriously, for me.
I did it for a while, it was truly HOT!!!!!!!! she would never show me her picture so it was probably a 350lb guy sitting there!!! that was asbout 6 yrs ago and about lost my wife from it sao I quit.
I've had cybersex in the past, still do it occasionally now, and it can occasionally be enjoyable, but yeah, its nothing that special. Certainly not creepy though. The lines between "hot chat" and cybersex are pretty blurred, anyway.
I did a little cybering years ago, but it never did much for me. I chatted with a few women who would just all of a sudden "Unzips your fly and..." kind of thing. I tried to be polite and not tell them they were boring me. But sometimes it was pretty erotic. I knew a few "cyber queens" who spent a good portion of their time cybering with various guys. I read some of their scripts and must admit that it was hot.
And yes, it was going strong as early as '92 when I first started spending any time online. Probably before that.... But it wasn't until Netscape was released ('94?) that the internet became anything as we know it today. Incidentally, I first downloaded information online in 1980 with my first Apple II. It was slow and the long distance phone calls expensive. Modems weren't very fast back then! I can't remember if my first modem was 75 or 300 baud.
I' ve never understood how cybersex actually worked. How does one type and get off at the same time? How does one take of his/her pants and type at the same time? It's weird!!
