How was the experience? Honestly, I am pooping bricks thinking about it.
Piece of cake. It will hurt pretty bad for maybe 5-10 seconds, twice. Suck it up and think of your wife squatting out a baby for hours.
The recovery is a snap, didn't hurt at all and was easy.
Mine was *difficult* too so I'm guessing mine hurt more than normal but again, the pain is pretty brief and not really that bad so walk in knowing it will be over fast and you are going to get some awesome sympathy sex.
yes, I realize it can still happen even with being on the pill and with condoms, etc. but I want kids anyway so I couldn't date a guy that had a V, unless we both knew it was just a short term thing.
Yep, the V (while generally reversable but not 100%) is a deal-breaker with women wanting kids. It is something that needs to be disclosed early in any relationship. My sister had a friend who's BF hid the fact he had one from her..... what a jerk.
The last 3 men in my life all had vasectormies. I don't know what it's like to sleep with a man who hasn't been snipped. At least I can't remember that way back.
It' doesn't make any difference whatsoever.

The longer it's been the less likely it is for the reversal to work.
Birth control was a big issue after our kids were born. My husband refused a VR and a tubal was too expensive to consider. Pretty much killed our sex life.
No worries, no pauses... only problem is is I'm the one that needs to really clean up after rather than him LOL
Two words. Group Shower.
