I just don't get these people. I know a couple of folks who are NEVER satisfied with what they have. They always want more. It also has to be bigger and better than what they currently have. Both of the people I know have good incomes, nice homes, drive nice cars and are in good shape financially but it just isn't enough. Whatever they have ceases to be shiny, pretty and interesting once they have it.

These folks don't seem to realize how incredibly fortunate they have been in life. I keep wondering if they'll look around one day and see others who are struggling to get by, yet still appreciate what they DO have.
Some of the happiest people I've ever met really didn't have much in material goods, yet they had such a good outlook on their lives.

Do you know anyone like that? What do you think drives them to be that way?

My ex-husband used to say this about me. He had to go - he wasn't shiny and new enough for me.

I know someone who complains about everything. Wether it be what she doesn't have to the weather.... she's never happy with ANYTHING.

Thankfully, I've cut that cancer outta my life. She can live in solitude with her misery.

That kinda person just drains other people.

I sure do. She is incapable of happiness. Four beautiful children, great husband, didn't work, etc. She was always complaining blah blah blah...Her husband buys them a beautiful house in the suburbs that she wanted....she was happy for a week, and then blah blah blah blah blah. She had her 40th birthday part last year and it was other depressive people, all standing around feeding off one another, blah blah blah blah...

Finally, her husband snapped and divorced her. Frankly, I don't blame him one bit.
