The poster who said love was like a three legged stool was right on, IMO. A relationship needs friendship, intimacy and sex. If it's just sex, he can go out an hire a hooker and be done with it. Intimacy doesn't always have to be candlelit dinners. Emptying the dishwasher and putting the kids to bed is great foreplay, if you know what I mean. It's the little things. Two friends of mine just split up after almost 20 years. Sex was great but the other two parts just faded away and they couldnt stay together.
