By 1 in 9 do you mean those who have served "time"?
I'm not really scared of anybody that has been in prison unless it was gang activity, rape, child molestation, or murder.

That's what went through my mind. In addition, most people who have been processed in and out of county or have been in prison for less than 90 days, do not announce it to others. In AZ, you are zapped on your 1st DUI.

Thank goodness, AZ has wonderful free public records! On the other hand, it's a transient state...

Automatic 1 year for 1st catch. No buts, no cuts, no coconuts. It's Maricopa County (Phoenix) for certain, not sure about counties surrounding. Just remember when it went into effect about a year before we moved to FL.

That's Phoenix, Arizona, where I lived, but do not any longer, as of last Dec.
