I prefer blonde hair and blue (or green) eyes because it is the opposite of what I have, yes. But I'm not gonna go around looking for that specifically.
When I think of my ideal as far as looks it always seems to be dark haired men ( I'm brunette) but my long term relationships have always been with blonde/ blue eyed men? It's the personality that attracts me in the end most of all
It just depends. I think both can be very attractive. When I saw my fiance for the first time I thought he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen, and he has coppery, light reddish brown hair.

"Talk, dark and handsome" isn't used a lot for no reason, a lot of women like dark. I can count on one hand how many blond men I've liked as far as looks. That's not to say they aren't great looking because they are just as good looking, imo, as anyone else, just not my type. And, just for the helluvit, I know so many men who prefer brunettes or redheads to blonds so I don't think it's men in general. Elvis for instance, he loved dark hair on women. Bono, Michael Hutchense did. But I wouldn't not date someone because of the color of their hair. LOL
I tend to be more easily attracted to darker guys (Italians, Greeks, Turks, Sephardic Jews, etc. ), although of course I've also been strongly drawn to some blonde males in my life and I can readily appreciate their beauty as well.
