I think it depends more on the personality and character of the person, rather than their hair color. Sure, aesthetically speaking, I'm more attracted to dark haired men (I have black hair, BTW), but right now there is this guy who is like the biggest hunk in the universe - a total hottie - but he is blonde. There is just something about his personality, his mannerisms, etc. that just exudes hotness ... so I'm trying to stay away from him because when I'm around him I get all stupid and sh*t!!!
Ummm... no. The women in my family prefer men with dark brown hair. Dark haired men seem more interesting. They seem to be smarter and more intellectual too. When I think blonde haired men, I think surfer boys, Peter Frampton and David Lee Roth.
Of course, there are always exceptions to every generalization...

Yes, the blonde I'm talking about is not a surfer - more like a Nordic type guy, a very intellectual white collar professional ... who just so happens to be H-O-T!!!!!

Oh a TRUE blonde! lol. Most blondes are not natural blondes... so a man who colours or highlights his hair is also not that appealing to me. I don't like vain men. And I'm not that outdoorsy a woman, so a man having natural blonde highlights from the sun isn't that exciting to me.
I was just contemplating a cover of GQ magazine the other day. I also realized that for me, I don't like perfect looking men with chiseled looking faces. They just seem so artificial.
It depends on the woman, I am sure.
In my case, I am a brunette and have always like blond men a lot. I am not closed to any hair color though. Lighter looks and blond hair is just icing on the cake.
For me, it depends on their skin tone and the color of hair that would look best against it.
