Good advice!

KMG, if you should run into him again, act like nothing happened and be cordial as you would if it were any other stranger...

Welcome to the world of "flakes", served with muffins and orange juice.

If you know anything about the dating scene, these things happen. It has happened to me. I know you are disappointed but even females get rejection.

Even though it was just a snippet, I took it down to remain anonymous..it's a small world.

Stop treating her like she already had their wedding planned! I think I know how she feels.. There are some girls that meet guys every day that they could be interested and then there are girls that rarely meet anyone with potential.. I'm the latter and maybe she is too.

Plus, one of the reasons I come on this forum is because it's anonymous so you can make a big deal out of things that happen to be on your mind that you wouldn't necessarily make such a big deal out of to your non-forum friends. Stop treating her like she's abnormal.. It's okay to be disappointed for a few days KMG!

Welcome to the dating scene!

My limited experiences tell me that it takes a settled/calm mind to find the best match.

Of course, only if that's your desire.

I'd move on quietly and the next time, if they don't call you, don't call them, just go out...if they're really interested they'll call....he apparently was not, and you smothered him with phone calls about it and texting him...that is a no no. If someone stood me up, girlfriend or a date with a man, that would be it.
