I made my own dough for the first and last time at the age of 7. Not filo, of course. Mom made great pastries. One winter she decided I was too skinny and started making them every morning for breakfast. Never had a problem with being too skinny since! That's another reason I don't wanna get into it... I love it and I'll balloon if I start making such evil stuff.

That is hysterical! My mother would have given me Cap'n Crunch or something crappy...my grandmother is the cook. I would love to learn to make pastries. I tried to make eclairs this summer and they flopped everytime!
