Warning Sign #19: He doesn't meet all of the qualities you've dreamed for in a husband.

Oh no....toss the list and find true love!!! Dream men are just that, dreams. Marry a flesh & blood human being, flaws and all. I think better advice is, look for a guy whose flaws bother you the least.

I would suggest that points 9 and 20 are likely to wash out most men who are otherwise an excellent choice. Then, even if he works really hard to overcome these handicaps, she uses point 19 to find a way to dump him. I would also suggest that if point 7 is a deal breaker, a woman should limit her search to her church.

Default Anybody can write "advice"

Rule number 9?

If everything else is in order?

Proves that the article was obviously written by an immature, childlike, superficial young girl.

Most readers here are way past her in insight.

what if he's doesnt do drugs, but sells them, only has beaten his ex's, has had his mom in a headlock at some point (but she provoked it), and hios girl LIKES being hollered at at times (like, he can tell), dealing drugs IS his "steady job", he suggested they have sex on the third date, he meets all of the qualities she looks for, a year into it she cannot stop raving about the sex, and he lives to make her happy?
thats not so bad, eh?
i mean, this is a friend of mine

Let me add that although it is bad if he treats his mother poorly, it is also bad if he is too close to her. If he's calling her and his father and telling them every single thing he did that day, it's no good. If he seeks their approval to do anything, and copies whatever they do to gain approval, it's a negative sign. Finally, if he calls his mother sweet little names that rhyme and talks to her in a baby voice, run away!!!!!!!!!

I don't find mr. right boring at all! I'd prefer that over mr. wrong anyday. life's too short to settle for a jerk. don't generalize all women.

No mamma's boys

and

No woosy men

The man should be a real man. If he cries that's a really, really bad sign. Run as fast as you can.

you ladies seriously need to stop putting up a front to be socially acceptable
the most alive you will feel IS WITH mr. wrongs, thus they get play from you AT ALL
so stop lying to APPEAR a certain way
your idealistic dreams were only created by what others deem socially appropriate
these dreams do not originate in your heart nor can be felt if they DID play out for you
you'd be bored and eventually would cheat on mr. right
and even if you did get with mr. right, do you honestly think that with all your relationship fear and feelings of inadequecy, you WOULDNT subconsciously F that up??????????
PULL-EASE
i have dated way too many of you to NOT understand you
