I used to work with someone years ago. His wife had a baby (their first child), but instead of helping out with the baby he continued with his old behaviour, coming home every night from work and playing PlayStation, while his wife did all the work. Has anyone here experienced a similar situation?

Not really. I may make other mistakes, but I don't marry overgrown kids.

My neighbor did that. He spent 6 months at sea, 6 months in front of the computer. I've always wondered if anyone ever told him that his wife divorced him.

He was managing a large group of people at work, and working long hours. I guess he just wanted to unwind and not be bothered when he got home.

Well, if you consider this kind of behavior OK, why did you post about it then?! Are you looking for validation?

I don't really consider it ok, I'm just saying that he was responsible at work, but apparently not at home. But we can never really know what goes on in the dark heart of another human being
