W/out question. Your telling me the heads of pharma companies aren't phsycos. They dont give a crap about your health as long as your taking the poison they make. They are worse then big oil.

Another thing to keep in mind is that society as a whole is becoming apathetic. We are becoming very cold and uncaring towards others and towards nature. We think nothing of destroying nature or hurting others for a few lousy dollars.

Exactly - and they can have the most charming veneer in the world and keep it going forever, as long as you only have to know them superficially. I was married to one. He saw life as a huge chess game. It's as if he was born without an empathy gene. They look at other people who genuinely love and they don't believe it's real, they think those people are faking, too, or dont know what they're doing. Only they have valid feelings, everyone else are cardboard cutouts. It really is a mental illness. And I dont think it's something that can be "cured" - they can learn how to act on the surface, I suppose, but they'd only be doing it as another dimension to manipulating other people - they can't change themselves inside.

I worked at a treatment center and we totally had some diagnosed Sociopaths. It was interesting to work with those people. I learned a whole lot about human behavior at that job. It was challenging, but also very interesting too and the staff was for the most part (there are always bad apples) great and a lot of fun outside of work too!!! But the sociopaths taught me a lot and I learned how to read people and not be taken in by a master manipulator. Though, I somehow suspended some of that with my ex. UGH. Oh well...live and learn!

I have a family member who is a sociopath or borderline...
He feels no guilt for any wrongdoing and uses people.
Can a sociopath feel love or care for anyone?I believe he cares about his..
Children but thats it.
