any thoughts?
I can't speak for other guys, but I would find it extremely flattering if a girl asked me out. But that's assuming I was interested in her too. If I wasn't, I'd feel incredibly awkward. But I was interested and she asked me out first, I wouldn't think less of her or be intimidated by her. If anything, I would think better of her knowing that she was confident enough and brave enough to do that. It would also go a long way towards making me more comfortable around her. Us men aren't very smart of observant. All the subtle signals you women throw our way to tell you're interested in us, those signals go right over our heads. I personally hate those mind games that men and women play to figure out if the other person is interested in them. If you like someone, don't hide it. And if you're a woman who's interested in a guy, take a chance. Cause while you're sitting around waiting for him to ask you out, he may meet someone else who catches his interest.

I don't mind if a woman asks me out. I never was in to that macho BS about guys being the hunter and all of that crapola.

It would be a pleasant surprise for a girl to ask me out instead of waiting on me to ask them out...

Absolutely! Did you want to pick me up, or shall I drive?

My first wife asked me out on our first date. I was still in high school and very shy with girls; I'd not have thought to ask her out anyway, as she was an underclassman.
