I am in love with my 45 year old boss and i am only 21. Would a 45 year old man be attracted to me? why do I feel so attracted to him if he is not all that good looking?
Hi Davine, I imagine a 45 year old man would be attracted to you, but not for the reasons you'd want him to be. As far as why you might be attracted to him, you might want to look into whether you attracted him because he represents some father figure that you've never quite had or maybe you're attracted to what you perceive in your stage of life as power and charisma. I know that at 21 I was fairly naive and was easily impressed by people that would never impress me today. I'd just advise you to be careful.
Ditto what Huckleberry says.... I am only 27 but sheesh..... 21 year old girls are AMAZING when compared to some of the girls my age. As Matthew Mconaughy said in "Dazed & Confused"..... "That's what I like about them highschool girls.... I get older, they stay the same age." Young women are super attractive.... no matter the mans age. An old friend used to tease his 40 y/o wife about "trading her in for 2 20's". That should better explain what i'm talking about.
Certainly ask yourself "Why" you feel the way you do though. At 45 he may appear to have it all, but likely does not. What may seem important now, will be very small in a few years. I am 27 - have 2 houses, i'm married, have 2 young kids, run my own company, and am in the process of moving to Austin from St. Louis. I am also a highschool drop out. I bet all that sounds great to some, but it's minor to me. I have a lot more to accomplish.
Don't even think about dating your boss. The inevitable fallout will affect your job and how you view your future relationships. This is nothing more than an attraction to an authority figure, something many women seem to have.
Please look on this as nothing more than an infatuation. Otherwise, five years from now, you'll be slapping yourself and saying, "What the HELL was I thinking?"
