My husband and I learned the hard way to communicate.

I would assume that he knew what I was feeling and get mad when he didn't do anything to fix it.

He would twist my words around to where he would be the hurt one.

Prime example. He has a son from a previous marriage. Great kid and a wonderful man.....but I digress....
We were very new in our relationship and he and a few other guys went out to a rasslin match. What I didn't expect was him dropping his son off at my house before he left. I was taken by surprise because nothing was ever said to me about watching him. I was actually getting ready to go out with friends.
When I asked him what this was all about, he twisted it all around that I didn't like his son so that means I didn't like him.

I have learned to tell him how something makes me feel and he's learned not to volunteer me for things without talking to me 1st.
