The internet seems to be a haven for married men to try to get their needs met. Are this many people really so badly matched?

Are there that many women who are willing to be with a married man?

It seems they have it down to a science, so you know they have been doing it for awhile when you catch one of the giveaway lines.

Before the internet, married men still had plenty of outlets for meeting women to meet their needs. Maybe a strip club or an office secretary. The internet just made it easier and more convenient for them.

I for one would love to be married. And I sure as hell would not destroy it by messin around online when I had the real thing right at home. I don't see why a guy would do that and figure they must be highly unstable or just flat out idiots. And why can't a woman pick up on that before marrying a lamebrain like that?

On-line men are younger, fitter, thinner, taller, smarter, sexier, and have more hair than their real-life alter egos.

No wonder women go for them.

That's because you have integrity!

Sometimes, people can't tell a lot about people who lie really well. I have talked to some I met through ads for months before figuring out they were married. Some swore over and over they were not married.
One guy had a daughter. He rode bikes with her, took her to a bed and breakfast on the weekends, etc. Took me awhile to pick up on that one too.
I found many just want to talk, and when you bring up meeting, they balk. Not that it's too soon, I'd want to feel safe too about meeting someone, and keep it public.
But there were the ones that everything is okay if you chat on the phone or do emails, but meeting, always a problem. The longest I talked to a guy was almost 6 months. Then he said his exwife wanted him back, and poof! off he went.
So I am very leery about meeting anyone at all.

I would never use anyone, and I am very upfront. I used to figure, that is how you get what you want. There are not a lot of singles at my age, so I have pretty much stopped looking. I got tired of the games out there. I didn't meet men who wanted someone honest and outside the box.

I don't know about that... They actually contributed to keeping people on leashes at all times. I hate being on a leash and certainly don't wanna keep anyone on a leash.

I saw an old employer of mine on one of those online singles things once. I was surprised to find out he was so rich, and so single. His wife was surprised to find that out too.

Honestly I haven't noticed, seemed to be more women on-line, but then I mostly come to this site and motorcycle forums.
