You know what gets me? How everyone is so quick to suggest divorce. Like, "My husband never tells me he loves me" "DIVORCE!" Drives me nuts.

The term "old timers" sort of chafes my rear a bit...sounds like we should pull our dentures from the glass and drink our metamucil...

How about the term "regulars"???

I mean seriously didn't your parents teach you anything.............I was always told that if I didn't have anything nice to say than don't say anything at all.

What's the deal???? I know I'm not the only person who feels this way. I know this isn't nice but neither are you.........and you know who you are!!
When you post on a public forum like this one, especially if you're asking for "guidance", you have to expect a certain amount of adversity. If all you're looking for is sympathy and affirmation, then what's the point?

I suspect that the majority of the posters you consider mean aren't actually intending to be mean. People just express their opinions and tell you straight out how they feel. If you can't take it, then perhaps you should seek guidance elsewhere?

Based on this thread you started, I can see why some might not respond positively to your posts.

Sounds like you need to take your high blood pressure medication and get back into your iron lung for the night.

And yes, some people have baggage and their posts show that....
I still think you need to define mean and show belittling...if you mean you're not agreed with...
then you, i believe, have come to the wrong place....
